Fri., Apr. 10/Steinbach 6 p.m. – Steinbach Arts Council exhibit opening ceremony featuring “Sisters” by Manitoba artist Cynthia Hiebert, in the Hall Gallery, 304 Second St. Exhibit features a series of quilted portraits and forms by assembling small pieces of fabric as individual elements within a larger composition. Exhibit runs until May 15. Toonie admission encouraged.

Sat., May 9/Steinbach 10 a.m.-4 p.m. – South East Artists Show and Sale, at Clearspring Mall. Come and see artists at work and have the opportunity to purchase original art pieces.

   

LORETTE CLUB LES BLES D’OR: at 1254 Dawson Rd, Lorette, Mondays and Thursdays from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., for seniors or persons with special needs to participate in activities with others under the assistance of qualified personnel. Contact Maureen LeDressay, program coordinator, at 204-878-2682 on those days. A home care assessment will be completed by the case coordinator from the Steinbach Service to Seniors board. Once recommended, program coordinator will contact you for transport arrangements. User fee (determined by the Government of Manitoba).

SOUTHEAST ARTISTS GROUP: Come paint with the Southeast Artists Group every Tuesday from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Steinbach Arts Council from Sept. 3 to the end of May 2025. Cost is $60 plus membership to the Steinbach Arts Council. Anyone can join. We sketch, do acrylic, oils, watercolours, pastels, etc. We share ideas in an informal setting.
