With Christmas around the corner and in the spirit of giving, many communities around the Southeast are handing out Christmas hampers. Here is where and how you can register and collect your Christmas hamper this year.
Steinbach
Steinbach Community Christmas of South East Helping Hands
Serves and delivers to: Steinbach, Mitchell, Blumenort, La Broquerie, Marchand, Sandilands, Woodridge, Carrick, Zhoda, St. Labre.

Emerson
Emerson Elks Christmas Voucher
Serves: Emerson
Application deadline: Dec. 7
Fill out an application at the Southeast Journal or the Emerson town hall.
Donations can be sent to the Emerson Elks, Box 511, Emerson, R0A 0L0.
Franklin
Franklin Christmas Cheer Board
Serves: Arnaud, Tolstoi, Ridgeville, Woodmore, Greenridge, Carlowrie, Dominion City, Rosa, Roseau River
Application deadline: Nov. 29
Registration can be dropped off at the Emerson-Franklin Municipal office in Dominion City, emailed to Clayton Pott at pottclayton@gmail.com of filled in by phone at 204-427-2638.
Gift certificates are mailed out to recipients during the week of Dec. 9.
Grunthal
Grunthal Community Christmas
Serves: Kleefeld, Grunthal, Sarto, and Pansy
Application deadline: Dec. 4
Delivery of Hampers: Dec 16 between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. (for families with the last name that starts with A-L) and Dec 17 between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. (for families whose last name starts with M-Z). If families prefer to pick their hampers up from our headquarters at Hanover Station 2 in Grunthal, they opt for that on Dec 17 between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Morris and Area Christmas Cheer Board
Serves: Morris, Rosenort, Lowe Farm, and RM of Morris.
Application deadline: Dec. 11
Hampers are delivered or picked up on Dec. 14.

Niverville
Niverville Helping Hands Food Bank
Serves: Niverville, New Bothwell, Ste Agathe

Reynolds

Application deadline: Nov. 28 at 4 p.m.

You will need to provide names of all adults and children living in the home, children’s ages, phone number and physical address, and proof they reside in Reynolds. Ensure you get confirmation that you are on the list.
Pick up at Hadashville Recreation Centre on Dec. 5 between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.

To make a donation make the cheques payable to Pariosse Saint-Jean-Baptiste and specify the cheque is for Christmas Hampers. Drop-off the cheque to Caisse Financial Group in Saint Jean Baptiste, St Jean Foods, or Letellier Country Market.
Ste Anne
Accueil Kateri Centre
Serves: Town of Ste Anne, RM of Ste Anne, Richer
Application deadline: Dec. 7
Register in writing with request forms found on www.accueilkatericentre.ca. Completed forms can be left at Burnell’s Food Plus in Richer or in the drop box in front of the food bank at 132 Centrale Avenue in Ste Anne. Forms can also be picked up at the Town of Ste Anne office or RM of Ste Anne office.
Registered food bank clients are automatically on the list for Christmas hampers.
Recipients must pick up their hampers on Dec. 21 at the food bank at 132 Centrale Ave. between 10 a.m. and noon. Food bank clients can pick up their hampers from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 18.
To make a monetary donation drop it off at the food bank drop off box. Please include your name and address so that you can get a tax receipt. Donations of dry goods can be dropped off in the yellow box behind the food bank. Please call the number on the box once you have made the donation.
St Pierre
Serves: RM of De Salaberry, St Malo, Dufrost, Otterburne, St Pierre
Application deadline: Dec. 2

To donate, make a cheque out to Village of St Pierre Jolys marked for Christmas Hampers or e-transfer money to info@villagestpierrejolys.ca. Tax receipts will be given for donations of more than $20. Donation deadline is Dec. 2.
Tache
Tache Food Resource Centre
Serves: Lorette, Landmark, Ross, Ste Genevieve, Rosewood, Dufresne.
Application deadline: Dec. 4.
Picking up: Dec 17 and 18 in Lorette at the food bank between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. and on Dec. 19 at the Ste Genevive Community Centre between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.
