The Canadian Pacific Kansas City holiday train arrived in Manitoba on Tuesday, making its first stop in Whitemouth. The annual program features two holiday trains, one in Canada and one in the U.S. that raises money, food and awareness for local food banks. In addition to food brought by attendees, the Whitemouth & District Lions Club received $4,000 toward the local food bank. The 1,000 foot long train included 14 rail cars decorate in Christmas themes and a modified boxcar that was turned into a travelling stage for entertainers Tyler Shaw and Shawnee Kish. The train made six stops in Manitoba. After the Whitemouth appearance they were scheduled to stop in Winnipeg, Portage, Carberry, Brandon and Virden.
